Description
Mongolian way of making the lasso is different than other countries and also special.
Fresh, wet skins of cattle, horses, or camels are shaved, cut to size, and put in distilled airag for 21 days. It makes the lasso more durable for long time use. After that it is hung in the shade, dried, softened, and lubricated with broth oil. Also lasso can be colored before drying in the shade. But Mongolians do not color it with red. Ropes are made in many ways, such twisting, knitting, weaving, carving, and tying.
This white rope lasso is made of cowhide. We make 32 lasso rope from one cowhide skin.
