The Mongolian traditional deel and other forms of national clothing are well designed for the demanding Mongolian climate and environment and the unique nomadic ways of life, social values, and customs.
Therefore, since the 1930s when Mongolian had started its diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union, Mongolian traditional deel started mixing up with European clothing becoming more and more easy to wear daily.
This vertical collared Mongolian shirt has nomads’ traditional placket from the fifth century which has a purpose of double protection as avoiding any digestive problems. Usually color of the shirts symbolizes colors of nature.
Absolutely beautiful. The measurements were perfect so is the fit!
The color is true to the photo and the tailor really did a perfect job, worthy of a “Maitre Couturier” on the Champs Elysees in Paris.
Thank you to the “Mongulai Team” for making all those wonderful Mongolian things appear on the internet !
It’s so much fun!
Better then expected
It’s surprisingly warm. Not hot, but “I thought I needed a jacket and I was wrong”. And soft. The picture doesn’t capture the color. It’s got a lot of nuance in person.
