This Mongolian two-humped camel is made up of soft fine felt. A good choice as a gift.
90% of the world’s camels are sun camels (single-humped) and 9.6% are Mongolian camels (two-humped). Two humped camels are in the Northern Gobi, Mongolia, Kalmykia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. The emergence of two-humped camels is also due to the fact that they accumulate a lot of fat in the body and use it as a source of heat during the harsh winter and spring seasons. The ancestor of the two-humped camel is the “flat” Bactrian camel. This animal still lives in the Gobi beyond the Altai mountain range in Mongolia.
