Mongolian boots are originally made for the convenience of horse riders when they are galloping; therefore, they are feet-friendly, exceptionally solid, and having good quality soles. A significant difference in the process of making Mongolian shoes compared to other leather boots is not using the mold. For the first few days, you may feel tough with your boots, but soon it will break in and you will be satisfied.

It has double “zulag” in the sole. Bottom of the boots made of cowhide. Rubber soles will be attached last.

  • Mongolian boots are named for the number of ornaments on it, starting mostly from eight and extending up to sixty-four.

  • The upturned tips of the Mongolian boots reflect the Mongolian wish to “do no harm to nature.”

  • The boots of kings and queens, noblemen and noblewomen, and high-ranking monks were made with beautifully stitched or embossed ornaments.

  • The tops of the Mongolian boot stockings are traditionally made using the satin stitch. They also often make use of the chain stitch and a shagreen-welt insertion and are ornamented with figures of animals that symbolize protection and preservation.

  • It is scientifically proven that space between socks and upturned tip makes the Mongolian boots cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Therefore, Mongolian boots are comfortable to wear in any season of the year.
