Ornament
The boots of kings and queens, noblemen and noblewomen, and high-ranking monks were made with beautifully stitched or embossed ornaments. The tops of the Mongolian boot stockings are traditionally made using the satin stitch. They also often make use of the chain stitch and a shagreen-welt insertion and are ornamented with figures of animals that symbolize protection and preservation.
What is the Mongolian Traditional Boot?
Mongolian Traditional boots are designed to be used in a way that is uniquely adapted to the landscape of Mongolia, its weather conditions, and the shoe’s shoulders are not kicked out of the rocks. It is also believed that the air between the laces and the socks is scientifically ground to keep warm in the winter and in the summer. Shoe soles are designed to protect footwear from external influences. The soles of Mongolian shoes are leather, felt, and quilt. The backseat of the shoe is a piece of cloth that can be used to stabilize and reinforce the footwear of the shoe.
