This instrument is a great instrument for anybody on a budget looking to study/get familiar with the Morin Khuur!! The delivery and communication were fantastic and I'm very happy with the instruments playability. Have been playing almost every day for a few months now and loving the sound I'm getting from it. Also Egshiglen are an established instrument brand in Mongolia so that is also reassuring. Can't recommend this instrument and website enough!! Маш их баярлалаа!!

Extremely impressed and happy with my Morin Khuur! Have spent many hours playing it almost everyday. The arrival/delivery was swift, communication was good and overall experience was excellent. This is a great instrument for a beginner or anyone on a budget who is looking to study or get familiar with this beautiful instrument. It took a little while for the instrument settle hold tuning etc and for myself to get to know my way around it as with instrument it takes time. I've included a couple of videos from a month or so ago (had it for 4- 5 months now) to give an idea of what the instrument sounds like in context of an early student. Also the instrument company Egshiglen seem to be a pretty well known and trusted brand in Mongolia so that is also something to go on. Happy playing! Маш их баярлалаа! :)

Beautiful instrument and a high quality build especially for the price. Took a little under 2 weeks to arrive to Texas. Great experience all around, definitely going to get different instruments eventually.

The higher string itself (the left one) is really difficult to tune, otherwise this product is great. I also didn't like the extra $100 for shipping fees, which forced me to buy this model instead of the slightly more expensive model that I wanted. I'm still learning this instrument and I'm struggling with it, but I'll get there. This is my very first string instrument. This instrument comes with a bow, rosin, the instrument itself, and for some funny reason, they gave me socks xD Be prepared to go on Amazon and buy better rosin, and in fact that will give you a better sound than using what they give you out of the box.

I was surprised at how good the craftsmanship is on a beginner's Morin Khuur. For $300 it is definitely underpriced, because the quality would've been worth an extra bit more than just $300. I love it!

Beautiful instrument. Quality workmanship and sounds nice. It was shipped in a solid wood box. Thanks to videos online by Steve Morel and others online I am able to play scales and some simple songs after a few weeks. I took one star off because the screw hole in the bow frog for the screw attaching it to the stick is too large and the frog falls off. Wrapping the screw in threadlock tape has helped. Mostly. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to own this instrument. I am thrilled to play it!
